Announcing My New Comic Book: The Tomb of the Broken Amulet!

I am excited to announce my latest comic book: The Tomb of the Broken Amulet!

This all-ages story is a Passover mummy adventure is available for pre-order right now!

The Tomb of the Broken Amulet reunites the team from Brother’s Keeper and The Beast and the Booth for another Jewish holiday genre comic!  I’m the illustrator, and the book is written by Arnon Shorr and colored by Aljoša Tomić.  We’re envisioning this as the next in a series of short stories that blend popular genres (particularly classical horror/monster and sci-fi) with Jewish holidays and their associated traditions.  We’re calling the series “FESTIVAL OF FORGOTTEN TALES”, and we hope to have a new comic book for you roughly every six months.

In The Tomb of the Broken Amulet, four siblings find an ancient tomb in the Judean Desert, and accidentally awaken a guardian mummy whose missing amulet holds the key to their survival — and a lesson about loss, hope and redemption.   When Reuven, Sol, Benny and Dinah bike into a desert wadi, they expect sun, sand, and maybe a little mischief — not an ancient tomb, a broken amulet, and a full-blown mummy chase!  After they stumble into a long-lost burial chamber and accidentally wake the mummy, the kids find themselves in a wild race to escape.  Along the way, they dodge traps, outwit ancient magic, and discover the key to healing their own broken hearts.  The Tomb of the Broken Amulet is an action-packed, heartwarming adventure about family, resilience, and finding hope in unexpected places.

Pre-ordered books (ordered before April 1, 2025) will be autographed by Arnon & me, and will be shipped on or about April 7, 2025.

Might we suggest this as a great afikoman present for all the kids (and kids at heart) at your seder…?
