Come Visit Me at the Jewish Comics Convention in NYC!
This weekend I’m excited to attend JewCE, the Jewish Comics convention in New York City!
JewCE — the Jewish Comics Experience — is a comics and pop culture convention celebrating Jewish comics and Jewish creators. I’m so excited to be there!
I’m honored that my graphic novel, José and the Pirate Captain Toledano, is nominated for a JewCie award in the category of Best Historical Narrative. Check out the other amazing Jewish comics and graphic novels nominated!
Not only that, but Arnon Shorr and I will be premiering our next collaboration at the convention: Brother’s Keeper, a comic book story based on the true story of Arnon’s grandfather’s experiences in Israel’s 1948 War for Independence.
We can’t wait for people to see Brother’s Keeper! Click here to read an article by Arnon describing the story, and click here to pre-order. Better yet, come see us at the con and buy a copy in person that we can sign for you!
Arnon and I will have a table in Artist’s Alley. Additionally, I’ll be running a cartooning workshop for kids and Arnon will be moderating a panel.
We hope to see you there!
