Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose stars Simon Pegg as the titular Nandor Fodor, a parapsychologist and author who investigated the paranormal.  Nandor Fodor was a real person, and he really did investigate the stories of Gef (pronounced “Jeff”) the talking Mongoose on
